Why Call It STAMP?
STAMP is a term used in the Washington, DC area to solidify a statement.
What Is The Purpose?
Funded in part by the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, STAMP is a Washington, DC-based magazine created to serve as a platform to get artist's work published. Most magazines only focus on "certain" artists. Those who have a large client list. It isn't an easy road for underground artists who, can't afford agents or socially inclined artists (those who don't belong to cliques), to have their work featured in a magazine. STAMP freely publishes artists across all disciplines and mediums. We are always open to accept submissions from artists to be featured. To be considered as a feature artist, simply submit a few samples of your work, a brief description of yourself, and contact information to stampmagazine@jasonnickens.com. We will then observe your work and contact you with a follow up email. It's that simple. Welcome to STAMP!!!
